C-ent Melon Has Lost You Forever Part 2 Airdropping Tomorrow On August 22nd to Coincide with Chinese Valentine’s Day

I love me a good melon and especially one that gives me a sliver of hope in something I am looking forward to. Over the weekend a melon was circulating broadly in C-ent that period xianxia romance drama Lost You Forever would air Part 2 not next summer 2024 but instead follow closing to the just finished Part 1 and drop on Chinese Valentine’s Day which is August 22nd this year (7-7 on the Lunar calendar). It would not be impossible for Tencent to drop a drama with zero confirmation and promos but since the platform just premiered the Feng Shao Feng and Jing Tian drama The Legend of Zhouhua last week it’s unlikely to air LYF Part 2 and compete with itself. We’ll see if it drops tomorrow, either way this rumor definitely got some traction in the last two days.

  1. Please please pleaseeee… i cant wait for the season 2 of my current fave drama!!!

Nowadays watching anything with Tan Jianci and realize, where have i been to not know about him???? He’s not just a great actor but also great singer dan dancer. He sings live beautifully.

Btw, The Legend Of Zhuohua is pretty good. The story is good. No stupid character. The pace is fast. The first 10 episodes are amazing.

  2. Lmao if this is true, Tencent had to pay for it through the nose. This drama already lost money for them and they got invited for tea. Wonder when WJ is getting fired.

      • Not my problem your fave drama is a tsunami haven that got the government interested. Talk to Tencent why they felt the need to spend over 500 million yuan just in the first few days to try and make this into a hit. 7000+ bought hot searches and yet ridiculously low reading volume, water armies working overtime, changed rules just because of Yang Zi watering her character where she could, leeching from pretty much every single big name on existence and it’s still a joke! I had such a good time this summer, let’s see how long your patron saint lasts in her executive position.

  3. Several government related social media accounts has uploaded several positive articles/posts about Lost You Forever since it aired. The whole Tencent being invited to drink tea with the govt is not true. Posting that rumor over and over again isn’t going to make it real lol. You know what they say… 自家的失败固然使人伤心,但对家的成功更让人破防。Sending prayers to that person to come to terms with reality lmao.
