Viewers complain, rightfully so, that K-dramas start strong and then fade or fall off a cliff in script quite often. So it’s both a blessing and a sadness when a strong drama that remains strong will be on the shorter end of a usual run. MBC weekend drama Knight Flower with Honey Lee and Lee Jong Won has been the shining star for the network and even out performing last year’s prestige sageuk My Dearest for the network. It has done double digits for the majority of its run but sadly for K-netizens next weekend is already the finale as its slated for only 12-episodes and not even a second season or part 2 type of splitting up of episodes. It’s just a short and effective drama that will hopefully end solidly and give hope back to viewers that K-dramas can still be good from start to finish.

This is the Kdrama I'm enjoying the most among all I'm following now. No sleepy tropes so far. Agreed it's too short with only 12 eps. I enjoyed each scene between Honey Lee and Lee Jong Won, unlike Marry My Husband where some arcs of the OTP together were, honestly, a bit boring. Comparing with My Dearest? Sorry no comparison. The latter is just a counterfeit of legendary Gone with the Wind.
I really enjoyed this one. I'm quite smitten with the ML, his puppy looks and expressions are so on-point in every scene. It does feel a little short, but the plot was kept simple and light-hearted, it is better to hope for a solid end than more episodes to drag it out.
Sometimes its good to be short and have a solid story instead of being long and losing a good story.
There isn't story for more episodes. So it's a good thing!
12 episodes is perfect, better to be short than being long and doing circles . The story is simple and entertaining thanks to Honey Lee . I don't think that the drama would have breaking into double digits with an actress as Shin Se Kyung . Honey Lee is good at playing the kind of badass roles ( The fiery priest, One woman,...)
Segunda Temporada, de verdad que este dorama me encantó la química de los protagonistas es increíble me gustaría así como a muchos fans que lograrán otra temporada, los felicito a todo el equipo que realizaron está producción tan magnífica
Not "watering" down the script to prolong the story line is more than commendable. It respects the intelligence of the viewer! Much better a short 12 episode run than a tiresomely long timeline to serve up an ego trip for the ML (as was the case for the recently aired Our Dearest).
Short and sweet then dragging along like AOS season 2.
That was horrible with rookie actress GYJ
This drama is very good
Short and sweet with a strong story line is better than long, boring and dragging. Honey Lee is excellent and best suited for the heroine in this drama.
