Kim Yoo Jung Gets Turned into a Chicken Nugget in Upcoming Netflix Slapstick Comedy Drama Starring Ryu Seung Ryong and Ahn Jae Hong

So I would never be interested in this K-drama but for the cast and director involved, I love every one of them SO MUCH. The upcoming Netflix drama Chicken Nugget with Ryu Seung Ryong and Ahn Jae Hong premiering on March 15th released the first poster and teaser and I was just basically teleported back to one of my favorite K-movies ever Extreme Jobs. It’s one of the biggest K-movie hits of all time, involves Ryu Seung Ryrong and fried chicken, and is directed by acclaimed director Lee Byeong Hun who is now here directing Chicken Nugget. EJ took wacky police hijinks and made one of the funniest movies ever and I can see the single conceit story here (dad frantic to turn chicken nugget back into beloved daughter) and make it work. Kim Yoo Jung plays the daughter in a cameo role as basically she’s a chicken nugget for the majority of the drama haha. Ahn Jae Hong is also continuing his impeccable streak of becoming any character onscreen and here he’s the dorky office worker crushing on the boss’ daughter who turns into a chicken nugget.

  1. I wasn’t exactly thrilled when I heard about this drama (big KYJ fan here), but the cast is amazing and the plot sounds intriguing.

  2. I will watch this for many reason thru Kim Yoo Jung is not one of them… I bet iit will be a good laugh. I better prepare tissues..

  3. I feel like they’ve been talking about this drama for a long time. Finally, it’s about to get released. Kudos to these two actors having to act like a chicken nugget was a real person.

  4. I might watch this if it’s a movie rather than a drama. I just can’t believe that they will have enough material with this concept like how will they keep the audience engage lol but I just know that Ryu Seong Ryung always picks a good script because I liked him in almost everything but in Kingdom because he’s a bad guy but even there he’s great that I really want his character to be devoured by zombies.
