So this drama and casting was first announced late in 2023 but with the latest announcement from CJ ENM it appears to be definitely in the works. Ji Chang Wook and D.O. (Do Kyung Soo) will be starring in Sculptured City in a twisted revenge tale. It’s about an ordinary man who has his life manipulated into a hell and comes back from it. He seeks revenge on those who did this to him, and there is a designer behind the scheme that orchestrates this hell on people. The drama is from the PD of movie Hard Hit and the screenwriter of Deluxe Taxi (Taxi Driver).

Nah I need him in a romance next, that’s even what he said he wants to do next what’s with the current trend of actors wanting to do romance and doing thrillers instead sukku is another example.
Sukku now filming in romance with Han Ji Min
Will there be romance between them? I can’t find much info on it
I think yes, genre is a melo, drama More Beautiful Than Heaven. The plot about married couple, both of them died of old age and got a chance to return at a second life at the age they want. The wife decided to return at the age of 70, because she was happy at that age, and the husband is much younger.
That’s all I know about the plot, but Han Ji Min, as I understand it, plays a younger version of wife.
Thanks, I thought he was keen on romcom but atleast there’s romance and melo’s a genre he hasn’t done before.
@Olesya1: Thanks for this news. How did I miss that SSK and HJM were doing a romance drama together? I just googled and it also stars Lee Jung Eun AND it’s directed by the director of The Light in Your Eyes, Law School, and My Liberation Notes. This has the potential to be excellent. What a great team!
Is D.O a good actor?
Yes, one of the good idol-turned-actor ones. Even good amongst just actors tbh
Ji Chang Wook is similar to Jang Ki Yong for me. Weak actor with no charisma.
this is an interesting pair. i’m looking forward to it.
