  2. No offence to Jinyoung but when I saw this news I thought he seems kind of beneath a senior established actress like Park Bo Young to be her male oead. However just saw that he is also with BH Entertainment like PBY so I suspect his agency have packaged him on the project with her for his first post-army drama.

The production team are good and Jinyoung is a decent enough actor who has done a good job of shaking off the idol turned actor tag so I think his performance will be fine. The plot makes it sound like it is a more female lead centric drama anyway as PBY will be playing the twins who swap lives. I wonder if the other sister will also have a love interest?

  3. The synopsis sounds so early 2000s lol. But I love PBY and I’m happy she’s sticking to non-fantasy genres for now.

I don’t know the writer as I haven’t bothered with YOM, but I LOVE the PD and most of his dramas. He has such a brilliant eye for creativity and making scenes look almost movie like. His last two dramas were admittedly atrocious but for me, that’s all the writer and nothing him. Plus Jinyoung is a decent actor and I think he’d look adorable with PBY, so if it goes through, I’ll keep an eye out for it!

  4. Jinyoung and Junho are two of the stronger male idol actors. Their acting chops are more evident in darker genres than pure romance or comedy.

  5. Can’t wait for actor Jinyoung’s return. I’ve watched him act for years, but honestly, his role as Yoo Babi in Yumi’s Cells was the first time I saw his potential as a strong romantic lead. Looking forward to him working with Park Bo Young, but I would really love to see him in another drama that lets him tap into the type of sensual chemistry he had with Kim Go Eun. I can truly see him pulling that off paired with Go Youn Jung in a drama with the more serious tone of dramas like One Spring Night, Something In The Rain, Secret Love Affair, Cheese In The Trap, Nevertheless, and Youth of May. I would love to see more dramas where the female lead can go toe to toe with the male lead the way Yoon Eun Eye did with her male leads.
