• Love Game in Eastern Fantasy and Story of Pearl Girl both premiering on Nov 1. Suddenly there is a storm of new dramas coming in from China and everything looks worth watching. I’m excited for both!

• Why is nobody mentioning that this will air the same time as pearl girl. I wonder how both would fair as it'll pit 2 top liuliangs of same gen.

  Just hoping that Liu Yuning would have a great role with a great response to his acting and portrayal. I have a really unexplained aversion to Zhao Lusi though so even though I love LYN, not sure if I'll really follow their drama. Maybe if the reviews are surprisingly good ala AJTL and TD

  • ZLS has more fans, so her drama will def top Esther's drama. But, who knows? LBFAD was a dark horse that has overshadowed even ZLS's dramas. At the end of the day, it depends on storyline. Esther had invested in more small time quality productions while ZLS is invested in bigger mainstream productions. Insofar, she hasn't failed in any of her recent ones.

    • It the other way around, lusi shows that has big production is TLI, and WRTW which even was tinted by the scandal of the producers affair. Most of her shows started in a low budget from the beginning but had a good results from, please feel at ease Mr ling, the romance of tiger and rose, female student,LLTG was not considered s+ drama when it aired, Hidden love loss it director and investment but she still sticked around to film when they had a new director, like the way the story of the pearl girl was problematic from beginning. The Fortunate thing for her is most of her show does well after airing.

    • @Mercy, oh I know ZLS started on small productions. I've been following her since she was in web dramas. But with LLTG, she's been in bigger productions. I've also been following Esther since her small production dramas. With LBFAD, she hasn't broken out of that mold. The only "big" thing was MJTY, which wasn't really that major. So we'll see. I'm a fan of both, but I know ZLS has more fans for sure.

  • Lusi definitely has the bigger audience draw because even her bad dramas like The Last Immortal does well in terms of views, but Esther has an eye for better scripts. Ultimately it'll depend on which drama has the better script because bigger names than them have flopped this year.

• I would probably check out Esther’s drama before lusi’s drama because it seems more light hearted and fun. I would wait for Lusi’s drama to finish and then watch because it seems like a bit more heavier and I’m in the mood for something fun and interesting.

• Not into Esther's voice, but she is charming; I like the rest of the gang; and this drama looks fun. Totally in it for the meta observations.

  • Her is not the main things she changed according to character it's ling miaomiao so she have another voice if u see mjty she's so good at her acting nd voice so don't complain about her voice it's her how she's doing anything
