More and More Chatter that iQiyi Will Airdrop The Demon Hunter’s Romance with Allen Ren and Song Zu Er at the End of November 2024
If I go back through my post history there are at least half a dozen ones about the potential airing of The Demon Hunter’s Romance with Allen Ren and Song Zu Er. None have come to fruition but I think it’s less that the rumor was false and more than the powers that be put a kibosh on it. Now this month there has been increasing chatter that iQiyi will airdrop this sucker at the end of November to get into the playing field what with Youku having The Story of Pearl Girl and Tencent winning with Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. Unlike the other Song Zu Er drama The Prisoner of Beauty which only has the first airing permit approval, Demon Hunter has both approvals obtained already so legally it can release anytime. But optically it’s still wary about the Song Zu Er situation. Reportedly iQiyi plans to airdrop with zero marketing and sponsors sold and will sell CFs afterwards when it’s allowed to keep airing.

Cant help it. Both leads just match the book character so much. And the reuters are so good. Plus its a mystery how they'll handle the plot since the book is rated r for they progress their relationship by 👌🏻

I will support Song Zuer and watch this drama...hope it will stay good enough not to drop. I hardly dont carry any high expectations for all new C-dramas. I feel that is the best mentality.
