Okay, talk about burying the lede here with this drama lol. Period C-drama Shadow Love (与晋长安 Yu Jing Chang An) with Song Yi and Cheng Lei just looked like a female general kicking ass and her romance with another male general/king and that was good enough for me to be interested. Then I watched the first preview was like what-tha-wut?!? this drama has a whole fantasy/xianxia element in the male lead probably being a demon or at leaving having demonic powers. He starts radiating blue lightning and his hair turns white and he morphs out one of those ubiquitous these days half mask and then goes on a fighting tear. Just….not what I was expecting but still interested here.
