Tencent Reportedly Will Not Airdrop The Prisoner of Beauty with Song Zu Er and Liu Yu Ning and Plans to Properly Promote it After the Positive Reception of The Demon Hunter’s Romance
C-ent has the reputation of being fast and quick to make decisions on scheduling and it shows the industry is keeping a close ear to feedback. Case in point, with iQiyi airdropping The Demon Hunter’s Romance with Allen Ren and Song Zu Er after it got the soft green light, initially Tencent was planning to also airdrop Song Zu Er and Liu Yu Ning‘s long finished The Prisoner of Beauty the moment it got the second and final airing permit. The permit has now been received but word on the street is that Tencent has seen the positive reception to The Demon Hunter’s Romance and doesn’t want to just hope and pray for a good outcome for Beauty with an airdrop. It’s planning to put promotional money and time into the drama and will air it in a later time rather than right away. It’s long been rumored that Beauty is done very well and Tencent has a hit on its hands so its not a surprise that it wants to maximize the returns. A little bit more time doesn’t hurt especially if it’s used to produce more promo goodies for fans.
Well, clever… Liu Yu Ning has been quiet recently. This drama will be good for them.

I mean in dramas… but I tend to watch singing variety shows only when my idol is in it…others, I dont follow.
