Well this is as bizarre of a K-drama lead casting pairing as any that can be conjured up haha. Nothing good or bad, just random. K-ent is reporting that Ha Ji Won and Kim Min Kyu have been offered the leads in an upcoming tvN drama titled Affair Hunters. That’s the entirety of the news article, no brief synopsis of the drama plot or any context around the lead characters, but the PD will be the director of Nokdu Flower, Twenty Five Twenty One, and Joseon Attorney. My only takeaway at this early stage of casting is just happiness that Ha Ji Won is still acting and getting scripts because so many former top K-drama stars male or female continue to slowly slide into what seems like retirement when I don’t see them onscreen for a few years running.
