Main Posters for K-drama Perfect Crown Bring the Dark Power Grandeur of Palace Walls as Third Teaser Showcases Budding Romance Between IU and Byun Woo Seok
We’re now two weeks away from the preview of MBC K-drama Perfect Crown on April 10th and it doesn’t feel like there is as much buzz as this drama should be getting with big name leads and a huge budget and promo push. But even if opening episode ratings aren’t a hit out of the gate if the drama is good it can build quickly and draw in viewers and K-drama land really needs a talked about hit right now. The drama released the first set of full four person lead cast main posters with IU, Byun Woo Seok, Noh Sang Hyun, and Gong Seung Yeon and the aura is dark palace walls and very serious vibes. The third teaser focuses on the interactions between the leads and it’s really cute TBH, I’m liking it enough to keep my hopes positive for this drama.

Now that is an age appropriate and visually compatible couple I didn’t know I can get behind!! 10 years after scarlet heart ryeo and I can’t wait to see IU in a palace setting…oh how I wish this story was actual future (back to og timeline) continuation of scarlet heart…I’m still hoping that there will be some crossover 🤞🤞
lol this is even funnier when you remember that in Scarlet Heart, Byun Wooseok played IU’s original cheating bf who caused her to go on the run and do the time slip

I’m keeping my expectations medium, IU role looks fun and sassy and a bit goofy in addition to being brusque and rude, I really think she’s more likely to be carrying the acting too, out of the two main leads. Looking forward to Gong Seungyeon too, she’s always good to watch and the regal styles fit her like a glove.
They all look great! But damn, that guy in glasses is fine AF lol

Also never contributed to growth of kpop with her boring ballads but benefitted from others hardwork and then collabed with global stars to get some hits outside local land. Her deranged fanbase will now cry here but this lolita is pathetic ugly c*** who uses charity to evade taxes and act saying. When she is a horny h**

Looking good. BWS is on almost every billboard in Korea with his advertising gigs and he has a huge fanbase, so I hope this works out well for him.
I’m not excited about this. The trailer looks predictable. I’ll keep my expectation low given that the genre isn’t my cup of tea. The visuals of two leads don’t help much. lol.
My expectations are low so surely it can’t get worse than that.
I like the plot reminds me somewhat of GOONG. But I wish they had chosen unknown leads. I can’t unsee IU as IU.
