Yu Shu Xin and Zhang Yun Long’s iQiyi Period C-drama Yunchu’s Vengeance Wraps Filming and Releases New Posters
So the first teaser trailer and new posters are out for iQiyi period C-drama Yun Chu’s Vengeance (Yun Chu Ling 云初令 or Cloud’s First Command) and it doesn’t look bad at all. Female lead Yu Shu Xin has turned away from her usual cutesy or bubbling character and doing the one I loved the most, the kickass methodical and cold type from My Journey to You. I’m still wholly unmoved by male lead Zhang Yun Long whether visuals or acting but he’s also not annoying so in a good drama story would totally be watchable, and honestly might even be a good thing to not get so caught up in stars I particularly like and keep being open to ones that have yet to pop for me. The supporting cast all look unfamiliar to me so this may be a Yu Shu Xin needing to hard carry the drama to premiere type project but hey if she wanted a challenge she picked it.

I remember the second male actor!!! He was in Love Like The Galaxy, playing Zhao Lu Si’s Shao Shang’s uncle, entirely devoted to his wife.
I looked him up in MDL and his name is Zhang Tian Yang but he’s not credited yet on Yunchu’s Vengeance’s page.
The teaser looks good but I’m not a fan of the ml’s look or acting too. But I will also give it a try.
