Wu Jin Yan Lines Up the Period Politics and Romance C-drama Feng Bu Qi as Her Next Project with Male Lead Likely Wei Zhe Ming
The C-drama production train chugs along and an upcoming project has inked its female lead and close for the male lead. The drama is titled Feng Bu Qi (凤不栖) adapted from the same name novel and the general synopsis reads the usual politics between kingdoms, war and strategizing, and of course romance between the leads. The drama will be top billed to female lead Wu Jin Yan, who continues to barrel along her career refresh after the surprise hit that was The Double. She will head into this drama after wrapping filming for Jiang Shan Wei Ping. The male lead is currently penciled in for Wei Zhe Ming for Feng Bu Qi, but could also become Peng Guan Ying as well who is in talks. It looks like the choice selections are all going for acting ability over trendy buzz so a good sign for the drama taking a more mature route.
2026 lineup is going to be LIT. So excited for this one, super plus if it’s WZM.

I try so hard to remember names of actors and actresses but I always find myself scrolling down to look for pictures cause yah I suck remembering names. I’m sure these two could do well. Both are good actors.
