Netflix Releases this Friday All 12-Episodes of Romance K-drama Can This Love be Translated with Kim Sun Ho and Go Yoon Jung
I know what I’m doing this weekend, lol! Binging all 12-episodes of Netflix K-drama Can This Love be Translated, bringing two leads I like like Kim Sun Ho and Go Yoon Jung with a script by the hit or miss but always worth checking out Hong Sisters. The streaming platform released its first big K-drama of the year this Friday January 16th and the very early feedback appears positive. The drama tells of a romance between a top star actress and a polyglot translator as they travel the world when she films a variety show. She’s warm and doesn’t have a problem with boundaries while he’s reserved and not as quick to jump into anything like she does. Romances rise and fall on the chemistry of the two leads and how their characters are written to do the push-and-pull routine until the slots fit so I’m hoping this one checks all the boxes because I am so in the mood for a classic mood romance.

My expectation was too high is guess. I can just say it is an okay drama. Okay but not a drama that I want to rewatch. The good thing about this drama is the cinematography.
The story is a tad too bland. But the visuals and touristy scenes are great. Female lead is cute.
Wish the release followed the traditional 2 episodes a week. I know I can just do a better job of restricting myself to just 2 episodes a week, but I like the weekly anticipation and that’s pretty much how I had watched most of the Hong sisters dramas over the last 2 decades.
Good, just in right time. I had nothing to watch in between several Kdramas I’m following. The synopsis sounds generic. But it’s Hong Sisters’. I’ll check it out to fill the void while waiting for other Kdramas to update with new eps..
