Jang Nara Makes a Quick Return to Dramas Joining Shin Ha Kyun in Mr. Baek — 8 Comments

  1. Yes! I was worried we’ll have to wait for a year again to see her back on Korean TV. ^^

  2. My bet is plenty of moolah did change hands, so that MBC could secure her services while FTLY is still fresh and thus get her strong fanbase on board. Particularly in China, and to maximise its chances against Pinocchio. I’m sure LJS fans must be thinking that he can’t have two consecutive mega-stinkers, so MBC getting in a week early with a lead actress guaranteed to catch the attention of Chinese network money me seems like a good plan.

  3. Must see because of JNR and SHK, but the scriptwriter is bleh… hopefully she won’t disappoint this time.

  4. For some reason, I really like this pairing. I love him doing anything, and she is a smart actress who has chosen good projects. I hope they can bring the project up no matter the script. Hopefully the writer will listen if SHK doesn’t like the direction of the story.

It certainly has the potential of being dark if they want to go there. The film, The Devils Game had old man/young man and body swapping in a completely different genre.

  5. Lee Joon, who was very impressive in Gapdong is reported to play Shin Ha Kyun’s son with an unrequited love for Jang Nara! 😀 Hope that he will manage to deliver on the rom-com as well.

    *proud MBLAQ mama bear*

  6. Fresh pairing up. Hope SHK acts well. Previously, he was so amazed me in ‘Brain’ but his last project really poor with LMJ.
Wishing SHK&JNR chemistry on for this show..fighting!!!
