Ji Soo and Nam Joo Hyuk Take Their K-Bu Bu Jing Xin Brotherhood to Real Life Bromance
There is a new bromance in K-town, whether it was created from reel to real or vice-versa it doesn’t matter because both are just so sweet together. Rising actors Nam Joo Hyuk and Ji Soo have been gallivanting from drama set to events around town and posting SNS updates ever since filming started on the Korean drama adaptation of Bu Bu Jing Xin (Bobogyungsim: Ryeo). Among the six male leads cast as the brothers including Lee Jun Ki, Hong Jong Hyun, Kang Na Neul and Baekhyun, it’s hands down Ji Soo and Nam Joo Hyuk who look so much like real brothers some of their bromance selcas make me double takes.
Unfortunately the drama might not tap into it as much as Nam Joo Hyuk plays 13th Prince and Ji Soo 14th Prince, and those two actually don’t interact much being from different factions even though their ages are closest. In real life Nam Joo Hyuk seems like the hyung but it’s actually the other way around, Ji Soo is a year older being a March ’93 baby while Nam Joo Hyuk was born in February ’94. These two are also enjoying parallel rises to fame thanks to doing school dramas last year – Ji Soo with Angry Mom and Nam Joo Hyuk in Who Are You: School 2015, and now culminating with some BBJX bro-angst to come.

It really doesn’t help that they’ve both adopted the same hairstyle and have a similar sense of fashion lol.
Anyway, I actually think Jisoo looks older than NJH. IMO, Jisoo has a manlier aura whereas NJH has a boyish charm. Plus, he has a serious baby face (even more so than Jisoo I think)! Regardless, they’re both attractive. If they threw in Won Geun w/ a similar hairstyle (think his look in longing for spring *sighhhhh* he was SO BEAUTIFUL there, oh my goodness) they’ll be a visually incomparable trio.
It’ll be like, visual domination lol.

Ji Soo makes for great bromances, lol – he was adorable with Lee Won Geun when they were doing Sassy Go Go. And he also has a case of hyung worship for Ryu Joon Yeol and Byun Yo Han.
