I forgot Chae Rim was also pregnant and part of the huge K-actress baby boom of 2017, so a big congrats to her and her C-actor husband Gao Zi Qi on welcoming the arrival of their baby last week. The couple had a healthy baby boy and Gao Zi Qi posted the baby’s arrival foot and footprint on his SNS account and shared the emotions on welcoming his son to this world. The couple has been married since 2014 and dated for two years prior, meeting on the set of 2012 filmed C-drama Li Family Courtyard. Chae Rim has been active in Mainland China for over a decade and her last K-actress was Oh My Lady opposite Choi Si Won back in 2010. I’m not sure if we’ll see her back on the K-drama screens any time soon but she deserves plenty of mommy time off to spend with her family after working hard in the industry for two decades plus as one of the original Hallyu stars.
