Because I haven’t spent copious hours dissection K-dramas tropes it, okay I’m joking I totally have. But even then I am rather amused at how screenwriters still push the envelopes of the kitchen sink method, and none of the upcoming dramas moreso than tvN romance Crash Landing on You. The solo drama stills of Hyun Bin as a North Korean high ranking military officer hammers homes the fits of conceit – he’s handsome, tall, has a sense of humor, and in the context of this drama will just happen to be the person that female lead Son Ye Jin lands on in ALL of North Korea, and he will also be emotionally available and ready to fall in love with her. People who buy lotto tickets believe they will be one of the hundreds of million odds of winning, I guess we drama watchers are equally as gullible perhaps because we get the cheaper and more immediate satisfaction lol. He’s so handsome here, take my money tvN and gimme more!
He’s so handsome and charming. He better do a good job because goddess Ye Jin never failed. I’ll be disappointed if this drama fail.

HB already came up with a nickname for their characters -Two Ri (meaning both of them and the combo of Ri Jung-Hyuk and Yoon Se-Ri). Cute. They sounded and looked comfortable with each other. Hopefully their chemistry will translate well on screen.
