The North-South Korean divide being milked for a star-crossed lovers concept was executed well once in K-dramas with The King 2 Hearts, one of my faves. It’s getting a reverse treatment in upcoming tvN drama Love’s Crash Landing (Crash Landed Love), with Hyun Bin as the North Korean military officer an Son Ye Jin as a South Korean heiress crossing … Continue reading →
If Jung Hae In and Kim Go Eun are auditioning for a drama OTP then they just blew it out of the park and if I were a drama executive I would shoehorn these two into a good script ASAP. The two are continuing on their promotional campaign for their feel good movie Tune in for Love and are getting … Continue reading →
I sure hope a third party isn’t involved in the impending divorce between Ahn Jae Hyun and Gu Hye Sun since it’s always make a sad situation even worse. HB Entertainment, Ahn Jae Hyun’s long time agency and also Gu Hye Sun’s agency after she moved over this past May, has issued a statement vowing to take action against netizens … Continue reading →
In this day and age where everything is memorialized online, it’s never ever going to be erased so the memory is loooong people. L (Kim Myung Soo) has been in the news a lot these last two days, first for leaving his long time label Woollim Entertainment which got positive feedback from his fans and the public since he’s put … Continue reading →
I’m guessing that this pictorial is selling shoes but all I see is a woman post-divorce showcasing a brand new look. Song Hye Kyo dropped a new pictorial to start the week and she looks fantabulous. Oh what some dramatic eyeliner and straightened hair can do for freshening up a look. I’m hoping sooner rather than later that all posts … Continue reading →
Hahaha, if these two weren’t good girlfriends and were of opposite sex, this would totally be a netizen capture of a romantic relationship. Park Min Young and Jessica Jung were South Korean beauties in Spain this week as the ladies shared pictures from Mallorca that elicit such travel envy in me even though I just got back from Italy. I … Continue reading →
SBS is presenting yet another drama take on the underbelly of the rich and powerful, this time with veteran actress Kim Sun Ah in the fall drama Secret Boutique. I love the two teaser posters, so artfully done and evocative, mysterious and intriguing. Kim Sun Ah plays Jenny Jang, a lowly jimjjalbang (bathhouse) worker who starts working as a housemaid … Continue reading →
From someone who has lived through this, I would advise Gu Hye Sun to do everything she can to make the impending divorce with husband Ahn Jae Hyun as non-contentious as possible rather than fighting against the tide. This is why divorces in most countries are no-fault because once someone doesn’t want to be married there is no way to … Continue reading →
I hope this is for a photo shoot otherwise it’s mildly hilarious. K-actor Lee Min Ho has been back from military service for a few months, taking the first month to travel extensively and now appears ramping back for work. This week he posted three pictures to his SNS account that will certainly make his fans swoon. He’s very handsome … Continue reading →
There’s two young names being added to the upcoming season 2 of hit medical drama Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim. I figure the younger leads Seo Hyun Jin and Yoo Yeon Seok don’t feel the need to come back understandably, so in their place the drama is going to cast Ahn Hyo Seob and rookie Jeon So Ni. Of course the … Continue reading →
Oh boy, not another one. K-ent got a rattling Sunday morning wake up with K-actress Gu Hye Sun posted on her SNS account a picture of a piece of paper with the words “Gu Hye Sun, I love you, Gu Hye Sun, I love you” but below her caption read that her husband Ahn Jae Hyun has changed his mind … Continue reading →
The wait for K-actress Gong Hyo Jin back on the small screen is nearly over, as script reading stills were released by KBS for the upcoming drama When Camellia Blooms. Filming is already underway since last month but this start of promos for the drama brings the excitement of checking out how drama will look visually. I remembering getting more … Continue reading →
Filming is underway for the mid-fall tvN drama Melt Me (Melting Me Softly), which actually has a romantic-ish title if it’s referring to the heart but less so when it references cryogenics. The drama stars Ji Chang Wook and Won Jin Ah as a man and woman who takes part in a 24 hour freezing experiment as part of a … Continue reading →
