Every time a drama is popular then everyone gets curious as to what next drama the leads will choose next since the offers come streaming in. I don’t know if this drama will be the one Ding Yu Xi picks after Love Game in Eastern Fantasy but industry casting says he’s been offered the male lead in the Hunan TV … Continue reading →
The pivot for the A-list drama C-actresses going to modern female empowerment dramas started with Crystal Liu in The Tale of Rose two years ago and Tang Yan just filmed Lady Liberty. Joining the train is Yang Mi as her next drama is titled The People I Love (Wo Ai De Na Xie Ren 我爱的那些人) and she plays a woman … Continue reading →
There is a new tvN weekend drama and it’s a world’s away from the budget and profile of its predecessor. The Potato Lab with Lee Sun Bin and Kang Tae Oh premiered this past weekend taking over for When the Stars Gossip and debuted with 1.705% and 1.811% ratings. That’s low but on par with what Stars did for the … Continue reading →
So this week there is word that Tencent’s preparation for an upcoming period C-drama t0 start filming soon has soft signed both leads. The female lead is Meng Zi Yi and she got the role right after her leveling up with the popular drama Blossom. Fans of the drama wanted the male lead to be Lin Rui so the two … Continue reading →
This is probably as good as it gets for Tencent sitting on the fully finished and high profile period C-drama Legend of the Female General with Zhou Ye and Cheng Lei. In early January there was word that Tencent was going to air the drama at the end of that month around lunar new year. Then a week late supporting … Continue reading →
All I can hope for is that C-actress Zhao Lu Si is happy and healthy. She’s been back to work for over a month now after taking a few weeks hiatus in late December to recover from a physical illness. This week she was spotted at different CF brand events and her visuals are once again eliciting C-netizen commentary on … Continue reading →
It’s my first look at young actress Kim So Hyun in this new year and she’s debuting a fresh look with a bang. She was photographed at Incheon Airport departing for Milan to attend a brand fashion show. Her hair was cut into a cute young person suitable blunt bang shoulder length bob that frames her face so well. She … Continue reading →
Normally I would say 3 hits and two flops is at least still a winning percentage but considering the magnitude of the sunk costs of the two failures it’s still not a track record K-dramas can boast of. With When the Stars Gossip ending, K-ent is doing yet another reflecting of how best to produce hits and it’s not by … Continue reading →
I legit forgot about this upcoming K-drama until I saw the first stills today, and it’s probably because the female lead isn’t someone who excites me to watch onscreen despite loving the male lead. With that said, it’s still on my anticipated drama list when My Youth premieres later this year on jTBC. Starring Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo … Continue reading →
There is a new drama being prepped and it’s from troll producer Yu Zheng who remains hit or miss in terms of producing hits, though to his credit his dramas are always easily watchable. The male lead for the period C-drama adapted from the novel Xing Zhi Wan è¡Œæ¢æ™š will be Wang Xing Yue, no surprise as he’s the top … Continue reading →
February is always the resort wear collection fashion shows in Europe and the start of the early spring looks for the fashion season. K-actress Song Hye Kyo rocked a pixie cut with soft long bangs for the March 2025 edition of Vogue Korea and I’m wondering if short hair is in coming soon. She’s forever a chameleon and she makes … Continue reading →

Some have been discussed but did not come to fruition due to script and timing of their schedules, but industry insiders say the two have great chemistry, enjoyed working together, and are real … Continue reading →
The M0n-Tues tvN time slot seems to be the one where the occasion rom-com has a shot to deliver a well-received product, at least within the last year. Starting with Lovely Runner last April, then No Gain, No Love in August, and now My Dear Nemesis this February. MDN stars Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook as boss and … Continue reading →
