Cable network tvN is not having a good 2017 overall, the Mon-Tues dramas have been disappointments from Sensitive Boss to Bride of the Water God though Argon now is picking up, and Wed-Thurs resumed airing with Criminal Minds was a failed attempt all around. The bright spot has been on Sat-Sun with Living Up to Your Name (Deserving of the Name) and that’s the slot that upcoming Revolutionary Love (Byun Hyuk’s Love) will take over starting mid-October.

This is the post-military service project for idol-actor Choi Siwon and hopefully he fares better than fellow idol-actor Jaejoong‘s first drama after discharge with the epic flop that is Manhole (Wonderland’s Feels). For starters the leading lady is an upgrade with Kang Sora and the premise sounds quite cute albeit standard drama setup – a sweet-natured chaebol heir hides his wealth to live in commoner digs and crosses paths with a hardworking but struggling with life poor girl. I find the promos offbeat but cute in the hands of Sora and Siwon and madly hope this drama is a fun watch. Continue reading →
