I’m so psyched for upcoming SBS drama High Society it’s not even funny. Sure all my early enthusiasm sets myself up for a high likelihood of disappointment, but this drama wasn’t even on my radar initially so this gradual interest in it strikes me as less fangirling and more drama enthusiast reacting to something potentially awesome. Leads UEE, Sung Joon, Park Hyung Sik, and Lim Ji Yeon aren’t the usual Hallyu suspects that get all the viewer attention but that’s a good thing, it allows the drama to be judged on its own merits rather than having ardent fans of a certain actress or actor hijack drama discussions with blinders on affection.
