Folks, we’ve got here the first official pictures of the four leads in the upcoming SBS drama Thousand Day Promise, starring Kim Rae Won, Su Ae, Lee Sang Woo, and Jung Yumi. Looking good, looking very very good. I love the simplicity of how all four characters look, a very down-to-earth and mature vibe. Which is not surprising considering writer Kim Soo Hyun‘s previous works always strive to be relatable and sincere. She’s kinda the opposite of Kim Eun Sook, whose dramas I either love or hate. TDP has been filming since early September, but it’s promotional cycle will probably just start cranking up come end of the month since the 6-episode extension of Warrior Baek Dong Soo will delay it’s premiere by three weeks.
In the drama, Su Ae plays Seo Yeon, a woman who is slowly losing her memory, and Kim Rae Won is Ji Hyung, the man who loves her. Playing Seo Yeon’s cousin and Ji Hyung’s best friend will be Lee Sang Woo, who becomes a pillar of support for the couple. Jung Yumi plays a cheerful chaebol daughter who is the arranged marriage fiancee of Ji Hyung. Adding to this cast will be Park Yoo Hwan (the younger brother of Mickey Yoochun), playing the younger brother of Seo Yoon, a character described as energetic and forthright. Have a peek at some more recent behind-the-scenes pictures of the shoot.

yay! Kim Rae Won is back and on a Kim Soo Hyun drama, double yay!
Is this the Que sera sera Jung Yumi..or a new actress….cos it doesnt look like her in the poster
I know! Have to actresses named Jung Yumi, the one from Que sera, sera born on 83 and the one from this drama born on 86. It isn’t the girl from Que sera sera. It’s this one http://www.hancinema.net/korean_Jeong_Yoo-mi.php
*Have two actresses I mean..
It’s the Jung Yumi from Friends, Our Legend. She’s marvelous, a genuine talent with sparkling screen presence.
oh my goodness, Kim Rae Won’s upcoming drama! I’m totally in!
I bet KRW’s going to run in this drama…LOL… kidding aside, looking forward for this drama…
its.funny that the only dramas rth
that excite me this fall are melos and romcoms which are usually my drama bread and butter…this is one and the other is Padam Padam..it helps that they have my two fav writers
I miss Kim Rae Won…………………………………………….
Speechless…………………………..really miss Kim Rae Won………………………………………….
Hoping you can recap this drama Miss Koala, please
Su Ae is too beautiful for words.
Lee Sang Woo and Su Ae in same drama again. (previous was 9 Ends 2 Outs) – hope poor Sang Woo doesn’t end up in a love triangle again. That would be weird. Like a male version of always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
So it’s the drama version of ‘A Moment To Remember’? First LDW and now KRW who is picking a really sad premise for the comeback.. I want to watch it but I feel I’ll end up crying a lot as well. Other than that, everything looks good.
Yay! At last! I’m so hungry for more Kim Rae Won drama. Looking forward to this one. I like the other leads too.
