The PD for Protect the Boss gave an interview this week where he revealed that the ending for the drama will be very “boss-like”, so I take that to mean breezy and charming if we’re going by the first half of the drama. I’m cool with that. I’m pretty certain at this point the two-episode extension was purely for the sake of its successor drama, because there just wasn’t enough story for 120 more minutes, so what we got instead of unnecessary filler. But I think that’s over and done with now, and the final two episodes will likely get back on track. I just want to see some growth and reconciliation all around.

I’m sad that I won’t have this drama to look forward to every Wednesday and Thursday, but it’s plain from this two-episode extension that it’s best as a 16-episode drama. Still, I’m going to miss Ji-heon and Eun-seol and their cuteness.

I cannot wait to marathon this drama – I’ve been concentrating on “The Princess’ Man” and that is ending next week. Would make a totally different contrast to this and BBJX – no tears!

I hope the last 2 episodes are great so the show can go out with a bang!! 🙂 I loved this drama so much even though the last few episodes kinda bored me a little. I think part of it was that I just got interested more in other dramas, and along with the show’s fluff (probably due to the extension) – and I felt kinda bad. It was just so great before that I was a little let down. But I am eagerly awaiting the ending – I know it will be happy but I too am still looking for growth, neither way – I still enjoyed it overall.

By the way that actor who play the character of “Ji Heon” is really a very good actor

When I got to episode 15, I started to slowly distance my way from PTB because I knew that if a didn’t savour it, it would be gone in a flash. Now im so sad, but I know episodes 17 and 18 will be more than awesome!
