I finally have a cannot miss reason to watch Three Musketeers! Two more video teasers came out featuring Yang Dong Gun and Jung Hae In and wowsers did these two knock my socks off the way the first two with Lee Jin Wook and Jung Yong Hwa totally underwhelmed. To balance things out tvN also released new stills of Lee Jin Wook and Jung Yong Hwa, the former looking all princely in court while the latter shows up as the brash country boy coming to Hanyang to make a name for himself. But can I get right to spazzing over Yang Dong Gun and Jung Hae In’s new kickass teasers? Yang Dong Gun is clearly playing the in-your-face crazy one of the Three Musketeers, and his teaser has him womanizing and brandishing a shotgun like he wandered over from the set of Joseon Gunman. He’s so charismatic in mere seconds of screen time it’s ridiculous. Brings back all the feels from the cult favorite drama Ruler of Your Own World.
The third and final musketeer is played by super newbie Jung Hae In, a rookie that FNC Entertainment is trying to develop and I’m totally all for it. His first drama was playing fellow agency member Lee Hong Ki‘s younger brother in Bride of the Century, and now he’s going to be toddling along with Jung Yong Hwa in both their first sageuk outings. Jung Hae In gives off Seo Kang Joon vibes for me, easy on the eyes with an expressive aptitude and comfortable connection with the screen. He’s an inexperienced natural is my opinion. His teaser has him waving a sword around with a lot more convincing vibe than when Yong Hwa does it, but he also needs to amp up his dialogue delivery with the same tendency as Yong Hwa to speak like he’s talking in real life. Sageuk dialogue is akin to stage emoting, dramatic and deliberate. I’m also getting ready to swoon because Jung Hae In in sageuk garb looks uncannily like my baby boy Yoo Seung Ho in Warrior Baek Dong Soo! Kyaaaa~ TM is starting to look really promising.

Er YDG rocks the screen and I haven't even watched any of his dramas/ movies before.
Second this. YDG rocks in the trailer! Initially got to know him as a rapper in Show Me The Money 3 with, um, funny oddball judging criteria. Didn't know he acts too. Can't wait for 3M to start airing!
Man, the editing on the swordplay trailers is really bad....
I hope they improve that as if they cut like they do for the trailers, the action sequences will be a disjointed mess....
haha...no wonder i got some feeling that Jung Hae In gonna be big! He got a screen presence when in BOTC. Yeah...he remember me a lot with Seo Kang Joon. He gota lovable vibe and some charisma... gonna will look forward for his next acting.
koala...you are spot on...the charisma of these 2 additional musketeers (yang dong gun and jung hae in) just sizzles compared to the leads' teasers. I saw jung hae in the same drama too and though his role was small...thought that he definitely has talent. I think he will do very well, so it doesn't bother me that FNC plugged him into a yonghwa drama. Some rookies actually deserve opportunities.
