Aaron Yan Drops New MV and Major Shade on Two Fahrenheit Group Mates

I wonder what made puppy shoot his mouth off like this but one thing for certain is that Aaron Yan isn’t afraid of rattling up controversy by speaking bluntly. Last week Aaron was in Singapore to attend the Golden Awards and that was followed by the release of his new official MV for the single “The Unwanted Love”. The song has been out for awhile since it was used in the drama Fall in Love with Me with Tia Li but now he’s released it with an Aaron-only MV. Thankfully this one doesn’t involved awkward dancing like the last MV he dropped with guest star Puff Guo. Those two need to make out, not dance. The MV for “The Unwanted Love” is all photoshopped with two Aarons in front of the dry Utah desert outcroppings but what makes it work is Aaron’s gorgeous profile and the face-off on top of the ledge plank. Plus the director clearly had a valid reason to get one Aaron topless even if the other was wearing a hideous checkered suit and ought to have been topless as well.

What’s more buzzworthy to the TW-media over topless Aaron is his recent interview where he went Full Monty on revealing the dirt behind the Fahrenheit sorta split as well as his current relationship with his group mates. Aaron revealed that Wu Zun was always the most popular but it wasn’t just Zun who wanted to leave Fahrenheit as Calvin Chen and Jiro Wang also wanted the group to disband. Aaron was very hurt by that because he was the maknae and felt like they didn’t care about what would happen to him if the group split up. Over the years everyone has done well in their individual careers but now Aaron only keeps in touch with Wu Zun who he describes as the only one who treats him like a good friend that he’s gone through career building hardship with. With the other two there is simply courtesy contact when a new project comes out. The open shade on Calvin and Jiro is undeniable but since all four are doing well I suppose no one would think Aaron was knocking others down. I guess Fahrenheit fans can kiss reunion tours or future albums goodbye.

  • Oh wow, so that's what happened! I always liked Wu Chun and Aaron the most, and was sad that the group disband =(

I also thought jiro and Aaron were best buddies before!

What Aaron said further confirmed that Wu Chun is indeed super nice~

Glad that everyone is doing well now though!

    • Yes, S.H.E is not only a talented group they are also very down-to-earth and funny. Their friendship is also very strong especially after going through the ups and downs in their lives. It's a pity that their shi dis Fahrenheit couldn't follow their footsteps.

  • Wu Zun is probably the only one that keeps in contact and are friends with all his group mates. I know he's also close with Calvin. Feel like Wu Zun was the one that really cared about Farenheit more than just a group, but as friends and brothers.

Happy that Aaron and Wu Zun are close. And I'm glad that Aaron is not afraid to speak up. But honestly, out of all four Wu Zun and Aaron are probably doing the best. Wu Zun is doing less since he's a father, and honesty, doesn't need the money (I mean, his father is a billionaire and Zun himself owns a business kingdom in Brunei). Calvin has gone into hosting basically and Jiro's dramas are not hits.

  • Wait... Isn't Lee Jin Han wearing the pants of that "hideous checkered suit!!? in ep9 in My Secret Hotel!? I swear it's from the same outfit!!

  • The tragedy here isn't the shade that Aaron said about his former band mates, the real tragedy is what happened to Jiro's face.

He was the hottest one before all the surgery.

    • I KNOW THAT'S RIGHT! I can't even look at him anymore.

The fact the split was mutual, isn't surprising but the isolation and insinuated selfishness is sad to hear about. I hope it's not quite how Aaron perceived it to be and if there are any remaining hurt or ill feelings, they deal with them if they so desire.

All in all glad Aaron continues to do well! Love that kid! Don't quite understand his sex appeal *shrugs* but you don't have to agree on everything to appreciate talent and sincerity.

  • I used to be such a great fan and loved their projects together, Ko one, X family etc. Though it still hurts when Aaron put it that way since I always thought they were close. But we can't judge books by their covers, I guess it was all a gimmick since they were in a group together. Though am happy to hear that Wuzun and Aaron still keep close contact.

  • Aaron...everyone wanted to split with Zun leading the way but you only keep in touch with him...that must have been some argument when he asked Calvin and Jiro why.
