Thanks to TV Report running an article this week about the Korean actor male gods returning to drama land this fall, specifically naming five profile actors in So Ji Sub, Jang Hyuk. Song Joong Ki, Park Hae Jin, and Song Seung Heon, it got me thinking of which actor I was personally most interested in checking out. It’s hands down Song Joong Ki with his acting return in Kim Eun Sook‘s Descendants of the Sun after a two year hiatus from the acting world to fulfill his military service. But my wait will likely be longer than expected to see his return as the pre-produced DotS may end up airing in early 2016.
TV Report also named the return of So Ji Sub with rom-com Oh My God as a project audiences are excited about since it’s been two years since his popular last drama The Master’s Sun. Jang Hyuk is coming back with sageuk God of Trade: Innkeeper 2015, but his returning isn’t as buzzy since he did two dramas last year with Fated to Love You and Shine or Go Crazy. Next up is Park Hae Jin who has been inked for the manhwa adaptation of Cheese in the Trap since forever and now he finally has a rounded out supporting cast. And last but not least is the just confirmed casting of Song Seung Heon as the leading man in Lee Young Ae‘s comeback sageuk drama in a decade with Saimdang: The Herstory. That one might end up must-watch television but for the wrong reasons, heh.
In addition to the five actors TV Report discussed, also coming back this fall to dramas are Park Seo Joon with She Was Pretty, Song Jae Rim in weekend drama My Daughter, Geum Sa Wol, and last but not least, Yoo Ah In headlining a long sageuk in Six Dragons Flying.

all the drama above haven't really attract my attention yet
I still a bit disappointed why they didn't cast Song Il Kook to be Lee Young Ae's male lead instead of SSH. Despite his actings skill is better, both have twins-triplets, so they may share each other about their cute kids in the filming locations lol.
Not a big fan of saeguk and getting bored with rom-com, so for me Joong Ki is the most anticipated one with Song Hye Kyo.
Ms. Koala, do you know who'll be the male lead of Goodbye Mr.Black? I love the synopsis so far. It sounds fresh, intense and will be full of conflict till the end.
I am also interested in Goodbye.Mr.black. Is it true that Moon chae won declined for female lead??
So far, no official statement from her agency for the updates on her casting offer. So, no. Not sure where you heard about her rejecting the offer.
SIK already accept new KBS Saeguk Drama, Jang Yeoung-sil which scheduled to be aired on the early 2016...maye SIK ad LYA will have rating war next year...LOL
My bucket to watch list comes down to:
1. Song Joong Ki - Descendants of the Sun
2. Yoo Ah In - Six Dragons Flying
SSH+LYA,SJS+SMA and SJK+SHJ. These three dramas are the most anticipated ones. I wonder which drama will break 20% and above viewers rating.
Wait WHAT?!!!!! Song Seun Hoon is Lee Young Ae's leading man?!!!!!!
My picks for anticipation: Song Joong Ki, So Ji Sub.
The dramas I'll watch for many reasons: Park Hae Jin, Yoo Ah In and Park Seo jin.
I don't understand why many people are still angry SSH become LYA's leading man. I think he is okay. And this one is woman-centred.
because there is a widespread assumption that he is a bad actor which he is not, he was great in my princess and his acting was also fine in east of eden and the remake of the HK movie A Better Tomorrow, but he's been in a couple of ridiculous dramas ( these abound in kdrama land) with the most bland scripts and well it's not like the acting prowess in kdramas is anything impressive but in any case he is not a bad actor
SSH is okay in rom-coms, at most. Beyond that he's just awful, and this coming from me who loves him. He is not a good actor by any measure, sometimes he's watchable and not bad is basically his greatest upside.
I want song seung heon in the rom com and so ji sub in the sageuk or ideally they should be together in a romcom, I rarely watch kdramas or romcoms but when I watch watch a korean drama it's a romcom and these are my favorite kactors
Hahaha, SSH and SJB in a rom-com together. Now, that puts ideas in my head :-)
My lists to watch is only
1.Oh my god because of SMA
2.Saimdang because of LYA
for me the must watch dramas is oh my god~decendat of the sun:
