Another expectant K-actress joins the baby watching queue, which at this point is basically going to pop out a baby a month come this fall. So far there’s Kim Tae Hee, Jeon Ji Hyun, Hwang Jung Eum, So Yi Hyun, Jo Yoon Hee, Lee Shi Young, and I’m sure there is a few I’ve left off. This beautifully expectant group is now joined by Chae Rim who announced that she is pregnant with her first child with Chinese actor husband Gao Zi Qi. T

he two have been married since 2014 and met on the set of a Chinese drama, and there isn’t as much a language barrier as Chae Rim was one of the first big name Korean stars to head over to China in the mid 2000s to start making dramas and movies so she has some Chinese proficiency. Congrats to this low key happy couple, and also a double joyful reminder that cultural barriers can be bridged with love and understanding as these two have done through years of dating and marriage.
