I find the fashion visuals at the press conference for KBS drama Black Knight as nicely assembled as the drama has looked in all the preview trailers so far. Shin Se Kyung‘s black and white chaste shirt dress with bow, Kim Rae Won in navy and grey with smoking matching suede smoking shoes, and Seo Ji Hye in fire engine red lace bodycon dress with a slight waterfall hem. Together they are a trio of gorgeousness but the drama isn’t just three pretty people posing onscreen and the long 5-minute preview released at the event continues to mystify as to what this story is about. How does Seo Ji Hye not age and what is the connection with her the two leads from two hundred years ago, and does all love in K-drama melos have to be so fated as to traverse centuries and reincarnations. And if so can the bad girl turn good and get the second shot happy ending, or does the Candy female lead forever hold the keys to the heart of the male lead. It’ll be interesting to see how the audiences respond to Black Knight as it premieres this Wednesday.
Long preview for Black Knight:
I want to watch this drama for Kim Rae Won but why why why do they make me hessitant by getting Shin Se Kyung as the female lead???? ????? SSK just can’t act. She should just settled with supporting roles.
So lost watching the trailer! Not sure what to expect but the bars are low. KRW, will maybe watch for him. I like SSK too but somehow can’t resonate with her acting.
Honestly, Kim Rae Won and Seo Ji Hye look more compatible together, all the way from their style to face to height and their body proportions. SSK looks like a girlie next to them and it’s honestly a turn off. Honestly, I’m not intrigued even after seeing the stills and watching the trailers. Sure, it’s pretty, but so was Goblin and that drama was pointless and boring. I’m a little afraid that this will be much like Goblin lol.
I much preferred KRW in Punch, which was his best performance to date and I expected more of this kind of roles instead of ’’ a man who would do anything for love’’ types of roles, when he simply doesn’t suit them, at least not anymore.
Wish Kim Rae Won and Seo Ji Hye are the leads. I also like both of them in Punch. Kim Rae Won was so good in Punch and Seo Ji Hye despite being second lead (yes again) did an excellent job and had great chemistry with him.
Still haven’t decided whether to watch Black Knight.
I will try the first episode but I don’t think I’ll stick with it. The plot isn’t just my style. I dropped Goblin at episode 2 and LOBS at ep 6 and just read the recaps so if Black Knight is anything like those two snooze fests (most likely will be), I’ll drop it….
SSK is a total turn off… She does not look like a lead material standing next to SJH. I think KRW and SJH look gorgeous and more matching together… wish the story will change and SJH will get more screentime 🙂
on the contrary I will definitely watch this as I enjoyed goblin and also it is a melodrama which is my fav genre.
The comments here are so repetitive…. lol.
Hopefully this fantasy drama will have a refreshing and creative plot. There has been so many of them since Goblin that its starting to get repetitive.
They all look great. I’m in a good mood so I’ll just leave it at that.
ratings for the premier epi are out and its a disappointment for both i am not a robot and blacknight,
If either of them are good, their ratings will probably increase due to word of mouth.
yeah ur right but at least a premier epi rating shldnt be that low since as i am reading some comments fr previous post of koala that both male leads drama always have high rating, 2nd epi will be very impt. for a low premier rating.
the industry as a whole is just doing really bad right now. not the actors’ fault.
