First Look at Park Bo Young and Ahn Hyo Seob in tvN Image Swapping Drama Abyss
I had a momentary pause in trying to describe the central fantasy premise of upcoming jTBC drama Abyss. It’s neither soul-nor-body swapping because leads Park Bo Young and Ahn Hyo Seob merely turn into different looking versions of themselves, I think? She’s a knock out beautiful prosecutor played by Kim Sa Rang in a guest role who transforms into mousy Park Bo Young after entering the “abyss”. The opposite happens to the male lead as a guest star will play the unattractive young man he was before the abyss turns him into charming Ahn Hyo Seob. The first stills are out showing Park Bo Young clearly just post transformation because her suit is too big, I’m guessing going from statuesque and busty into petite. The script reading still are also out including supporting cast Lee Sung Jae, Kwon Soo Hyun, and Han So Hee. The drama airs in May in the Mon-Tues slot after The Psychometric Guy.

PBY looks very chubby and cute and AHS is a hottie I want to watch this cos it sounds like fun plus I like both actors and PBY will be all high n mighty and will think she’s beautiful and all that but AHS will be Gumby and lack confidence and won’t be comfortable with his good looks. Yep will be a hoot!
I’m not very interested in this drama. I’m not a fan of swapping body theme. I’m not a fan of AHS and I’m not really impressed by PBY anymore. I found her last drama and movie were kind of meh.
I like PBY and miss her feisty/mousy character in Oh My Ghostess. I believe it’s the same PD (?) so I’m expecting this to be good.
I’m still upset by the fact that ugly is PBY in natural form and pretty is KSR. They are just blatantly calling her ugly on mainstream tv.
