Nam Joo Hyuk, Suzy, Kim Sun Ho, and Kang Hana Attend Press Conference for tvN Drama Start-Up

This Saturday we’ll see if tvN drama Start-Up flies high or flails, I’m of course hoping for the former because I’ve loved all the dramas from screenwriter Park Hye Ryung. Leads Suzy, Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Sun Ho, and Kang Hana attended the press conference and I wished their coordinating outfits were brighter and more cheerful as this drama is all about aspiring to hit on a unicorn in tech. The long preview is also out and I’m already shipping Kim Sun Ho with like everyone. He’s the “Nam Do San” that Suzy’s character has corresponded with and encouraged her so it’s going to be sad to see that he pushes her towards Nam Joo Hyuk as he pretends to be the guy thanks to having the same name. It’s also weird to see like the negative chemistry with Nam Joo Hyuk and Suzy at the press conference lol, it’s like they are claiming one thing but hotmicc’d on body and facial expression to say otherwise.

  1. I saw the press conference and honestly, Kim Sunho and Hanna were more enthusiastic promoting than the “leads” (all 4 are leads but we know that in dramas the love line is the lead over characters).

    In terms of characters, I think Jipyeong is the most complex and the chemistry is strong between Sunho and Joohyuk, and also between Sunho and Hanna, sadly, apparently, they will not have a love line.

    Suzy was really quiet in the press conference, I don’t know if she’s that shy or maybe she was cautious cause Nam Joohyuk has a lot of fans. Anyway, she looked gorgeous.

  4. I am very fond of Nam Joo Hyuk but what was with that sullen look throughout the press con??? Suzy tried to make up for the lack of eye contact with a few awkward smiles.
