2021 is a good year if we get to see all three Kim child actress turn young actress in the small screen in the same year. Kim Sae Ron has picked her next acting work and it will be in the Kakao TV series Shaman Girl Ga Doo Shim. Earlier this year we got Kim So Hyun in the sageuk River Where the Moon Rises and later in the year Kim Yoo Jung is back with Red Sky (Hong Chun Gi). Kim Sae Ron’s drama is not a sageuk despite the shaman in the title, it’s set in a haunted high school and clearly some exorcism is much needed there. Kim Sae Ron plays the titular Ga Doo Shim born with the ability to see ghosts, she transfers to a high school with the curse that the student with the lowest rank in class exams ends up killing himself/herself. Dude, talk about piling on. I’m excited to see Kim Sae Ron back in anything and this sounds creepy and cool with also probably her last dip into the school drama age range.
