Kim Nam Gil, Jin Seon Kyu, and Kim So Jin Confirmed to Headline SBS Crime Thriller Drama Those Who Read Hearts of Evil
Finally! A drama casting in recent days that doesn’t involve current young buzzy stars lol. SBS has confirmed the leads for its upcoming K-drama adaptation of profiler novel Those Who Read Hearts of Evil. It’s written by South Korea’s first high profile criminal profiler who will be played by Kim Nam Gil. Joining him in the police force to track down evil doers will be Jin Seon Kyu and Kim So Jin, both equally as talented and heavyweight acting forces like Kim Nam Gil. The drama sounds like it will be like a Bones but for the criminal profiler genre rather than the forensic anthropology field, and I’m such a procedural nerd I love it all as long as its got solid actors and a great story. The drama is headed into production shortly with a release date around late fall 2021.

Kim Sojin was recently mentioned in an interview about the way she delivers her lines, mainly in the film ‘The King’…I watched it and she’s really good there!
This actually reminds me of Mindhunter. Love love love that show. Sucks that a 3rd season might not come along anymore. Anyway, I wonder about the tone and style they’re going for this one though.

Yes!! Sexy Kim Nam Gil is back on screen! About Island: I heard he will do this after he does this show. UGH!! The whole Seo Ye Ji leaving really put this show in a tailspin. I hope he won’t exit the show, b/c I know he would do such a fabulous job. Hope he won’t hurt himself that he drops out of Island. Finish strong KNG!!
