SBS Makjang Behemoth Drama Penthouse Ends Final Season 3 with a Rocks Fall Down Even More Ending as K-netizens Curse But Still Can’t Stop Watching
SBS Friday mega makjang drama Penthouse, currently in the 3rd and last season, is one of those dramas I feel like nobody needs to watch but everyone can figure out simply by following along with news coverage and more important K-netizen rage commentary. Today was the final episode and lordy was it fun to watch the newspapers and also the online commentariat lose their minds even more, it’s like screenwriter Kim Sun Ok set out to one up herself even more and succeeded. Basically every single lead character died, so netizens think this drama should be renamed “No One Lives”. From the three already dead Eugene, Uhm Ki Joon, and Yoon Jong Hoon, this episode let the other three leads join them in the great afterlife including Lee Ji Ah, Kim So Yeon, and Park Eun Seok. Even wilder is that Lee Ji Ah and Park Eun Seok gets a romantic send off in their characters meeting up in death with the red string of fate and get married. Mwahahaha, oh god I can’t even. This drama had it all: lying, cheating, betrayal, attempted murders, accidental, actual murders, resurrection from actual murders, resurrection from accidental murders, birth secrets, death secrets, secrets on top of secrets. It was the buffet of makjang that will give you indigestion and then the runs afterwards, so I hope everyone made it out safely watching.

Thank goodness this trash fest is finally over. And unlike its predecessors, this season couldn’t even touch 20%. Which indicates that many K-viewers didn’t bother with it.
Lol for real!! Season 2 is still watchable for me, but I can’t anymore with season 3. Season 3 is a whole mess
