This is such sweet happy news and adds a bit of positivity when viewing the normally superficial underpinnings of the Korean idol pop world. Big Bang member and solo singer Taeyang and his actress wife Min Hyo Rin are expecting their first child together. The news was confirmed and she’s currently 9 month pregnant so it’s basically any day now. The two dated for many years before going public and tied the knot in 2018, and even managed to weather Taeyang going to his army service after the wedding. This couple has always been notoriously low key, actually reminds me of the Won Bin and Lee Na Young married pair. Congrats to the soon to be parents and good luck in growing the family.

I also like them so much. One of my fave couple. They got married not bcuz of ‘an accident’. I mean, they’ve prepared everything before taking it to another level of relationship. He went to army and she stayed at home. He came back and bang bang bang, he’s going to be a dad. I’m so happy for Taeyang. As a long time VIP, this news is like oases. Taeyang will be a great dad. Can’t wait for Uncle GD, uncle Dae and Uncle Top to also get married, lol.
