The most “ripped from a drama script” celeb relationship news of 2022 so far has taken another formal step forward. TW-actress Barbie Hsu (Da S) and South Korean musician DJ Koo (Koo Jun Yup) registered their marriage in Taiwan this Monday morning, capping a wild three week news coverage of their rekindled romance. The couple announced their marriage three weeks ago to the world and explained that they registered their marriage in South Korea so that DJ Koo could come to Taiwan and reunite in person with Barbie as Taiwan is still not open to non-citizen or spousal travelers. DJ Koo landed a few days after the initial announcement and did a full 10 day quarantine before leaving the quarantine hotel late last week. After a few days of in person reunion, the first time the couple has seen each other since their break up 20 years ago, this Monday they formally registered their marriage in Taiwan as well. This caps the incredible rekindling of cross-border romance and I legit hope this whirlwind path to marriage works out for these two at this stage in their lives.
