Of all the drinks out there, water is the most refreshing and necessary but also kinda forgotten since it’s not as flashy. I guzzle water and in the same way I always embrace more Kim Yoo Jung, who has been repping a water brand for a few years now and always makes grabbing a bottle of aqua so enticing. If she’s water then she’s definitely sparkling water, haha, bubbly with extra pep and texture. I remain so hopeful that her next, or next next, drama will finally get another hole in one the way Moonlight Drawn by Clouds was, with the right male lead and the right story for her.
SO EXCITED FOR HER NETFLIX FILM
She’s so pretty! what a goddess!
???
She’s indeed pretty but I guess her heydays passed cauz there are a lot of new talents who can act better than 3 Kims. Sorry for telling the truth? I know she has hardcore fans. But I can express my opinion.
She’s only 22 year old, and has a whole life ahead of her. Just because she hit big in her teens and hasn’t found her footing yet doesn’t mean her heydays are over geez. There are a lot of new talents, but none of them can outact child actors turned adults who have been solid in acting for years now. Of course you can express your opinion, but it is a wrong one.
@ohw agree! The two Kims just hits different, both in terms of beauty and talent (I’m excluding kim sae ron because I don’t think she has the star factor like sohyun and yoojung, sorry). The so-called up and coming talents just all look generic, forgettable, and interchangeable to me lol and they haven’t yet proven that they have longevity.
Anyway, let’s just wait for the return of the two queens and let the people on this blog live in their delusional bubbles that those up and coming starlets are even in the same level as the two kims, in terms of beauty, talent, name recognition, and GP love lol
Brace yourselves folks, every future articles with the two kims will have more of these “their heydays are over” comments even tho those two are literally only 22 ?
I totally agree with you. These other actresses arent even in the same league as kim Yoo Jung.kim is young and beautiful and definitely talented as an actress and for those who cant see that shame on you.

she is a sageuk goddess. all of her sageuk dramas has a good rating. it’s such a pity she failed to be nominated in baeksang best actress with her sageuk work like the other 3 former child actresses.
To be honest I really thought that Lovers of the Red Sky would have been the drama that would catapult her popularity. It was doing great for the first couple of episodes then after a one week delay I started losing interest.
I felt that having to high of an expectation did leave me disappointed. And I didn’t write about it before but I felt that her acting or maybe it was the way her character was written or how the director told her how the character was supposed to act. I could only guess because I felt nothing for both the leads character.
Or maybe because her characters in Moonlight Drawn by Clouds and The Moon Embracing The Sun were deeply entrenched in my mind.
As for her beauty, the camera does love her.
It’s sad that her last drama was so badly written. It’s again one of these dramas that should have focused on the FL character and her journey as a painter but focused on the ML instead and made it boring… The story was so disapointing.
I really hope her next project will be better, she’s a great actress.
Knew that would happen the moment the name billing controversy happened lol
That sh*t happens all the time, where the female lead gets sidelined for the male lead to shine, especially in sageuks. First SH in ruler, then her in red sky and now LSY in red Sleeves. You could argue that even tho love in the moonlight was a ratings success, it was pretty much the park bo gum drama. After that drama, my queen is starring with b-listers or even lower than b-list actors. sigh. tired of it. hopefully her netflix movie is a success

This is meant to be a reply to @Sayaris comment, no idea how it ended up being a standalone comment lol
Even though moonlight was park bo gum drama it was majorly thier chemistry that sold the curiosity
Even after moonlight park bo gum has not given any hit drama
Yeah, I’m not arguing the chemistry, they did indeed had great chemistry. but my point was that park bo gum still starred with an a-lister (SHK) and PSD (fresh off of Parasite success) after love in the moonlight, regardless if those dramas are hits or not. My queen, however, hasn’t been given what she deserves, which is a-list co-stars. they always just use her name for vehicle projects for rising b-listers and it’s annoying AF. and then they would sideline her like in her last drama. the audacity. and people wonder why she and the other two kims aren’t rising steadily ?
