Alchemy of Souls Episode 13 on Saturday Rises to 6.290% with New Competition But Story Narrative Slows to a Crawl

Durrrr, this drama pace is really challenging my patience. Don’t fret, I still love Alchemy of Souls and it’s the one drama I immediately think to watch when I wake up on Saturday and Sunday mornings when new episodes drop, but episode 13 was sooooooooo slow. It was half Wook and Mu Deok escaping Jin Mu and half more training and exposition crawl. I can’t stand the baddies and hate that they are so blatantly getting away with stuff even with their half assed explanations. Sure Wook and Mu Deok continue to get closer but the earlier episodes had them doing so alongside fantastic narrative momentum. I hope the drama picks up next episode and beyond because this midway slowdown worries me as a hallmark of the Hong Sisters trait – start strong and slowly peter out.

I still enjoy watching it. Bcuz i used to watch a 50 something episodes Cdramas so the plot of this 20 episodes kdrama didnt really bother me.

I can see the character development in both our leads but hate to know that there are some new villains on the way.. sigh.

Although there are some unnecessary dramas going on, I still love watching this drama. The leads acting and chemistry never fails to amaze me, especially ML boy can act. I’m impressed with his acting and onscreen presence. Wish this boy make it big soon. He deserves it.

I agree. It’s really frustrating to see how slow things are now when we started out so well. I will watch till the end but I feel like they are dragging along too much, and they are going to just rush the end. Six episodes left and Mudeok is still not closer to becoming Naksu, plus they are now showing that she’s the lost daughter of the Jin family. This is driving me nutts.

It is expected to b like this since it is 20episodes,nd besides I guess it has a second season as well,alot of villains underground too,to me d movie is moving at a normal pace,it should av a good ending though nd I hope dey wnt delay d second season like arthdal chronicles dat is nowhere in site till now
