Kang Tae Oh Reportedly to Enlist for Military Service in Next Two Months and Won’t Be Able to Ride the Post Extraordinary Attorney Woo Breakout
I think this won’t impact K-actor Kang Tae Oh‘s career too much and it may just delay his ascendance to big time male lead level for another two years. K-ent is reporting that Kang Tae Oh is scheduled to enlist for his mandatory military service in either August or September. He was reportedly enlisting this year regardless but now more attention is on it due to his breakout from the hit drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo, a combination of a talented actor getting the right role and drama. Plenty of actors have enlisted after a hit project and what will happen is that their return will garner a lot of attention and they just have more pressure to deliver on their first post military enlistment role.

KTO- the rare breed of gentleman ; swoons ^^
I caught him because he is from SUrprise member, the same group as Seo Kang Joon. That silly web series introduce me to him hahaha.. And then I watch him in Tale of Nokdu, he is quite intens and seems suit sageuk genre. I actually want him in another sageuk after that. Wish him luck after his military service.
How about that. It's been a long time since I've seen 5urprise promote as an actor group. Probably haven't seen them as a whole since their After School: Lucky or Not days. I followed Seo Kang Joon from the beginning and see Lee Tae Hwan pop in dramas but I honestly forgot about the other members. But I see Kang Tae Oh's face and I remember him now. So many actors wind up enlisting after a breakthrough role or after being the lead of a hit drama. Hopefully after he returns he'll finally be able to launch his career as a lead actor.
I like him in EAW but his characters is pretty simple. But he's the perfect swooning addition to the drama :p
He can leave knowing that he made an impression before the army.
