Han Hyo Joo in Talks to Join Joo Ji Hoon in Sci-fi Drama Dominant Species By Screenwriter of Secret Forest

I feel like this is old school casting and in a good way. Han Hyo Joo has been offered the female lead in 2023 sci-fi drama Dominant Species (Dominion) which would pair her with Joo Ji Hoon who has been cast as the male lead. I mention old school because they basically debuted the exact same time in the mid-2000 era of second gen young K-dramas, her in Spring Waltz and him in Goong (Princess Hours) both airing in 2006. Back then with the musical chairs of actors and actress pairings these two totally would have worked together at some point but now 16 years has passed and they may finally get that chance. The drama is from the screenwriter of Secret Forest and Grid and is about a future of genes superiority and humans consuming pills as food to survive.
