K-ent is reporting that Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang are in talks to pair up for a new fantasy romance K-drama titled My Demon. She’s a chaebol heiress and he’s the demon that’s lost his powers and saves her. I mean, we’ve already got love with gumihos, vampires, goblins, grim reapers, the devil, et. al., so its about time a demon got some fun in the human world. The drama is from the screenwriter of Queen Cheorin (Mr. Queen) and is still in preparation but clearly casting is getting a head start and what a way to garner buzz with these two popular names potentially starring together.
KYJ is always cast by top PDs and writers. Just to show that she has more prestige and higher acting reputation than the other one.

Oh no… Lovers of the Red Sky was pretty disapointing with AHS as half demon. They made her character useless when being a painter was the best part. AHS was not very good neither… And now another demon with SK who is not the best actor neither…
I thought AHS was okay in it until he was sort of phoning it in by the end because the story got dragged out and even more ridiculous (and that stupid ending). The FL/KYJ painting was the best part of the series.
I hope KYJ gets a character who doesn’t get sidelined again. I feel like these types of the stories where the guy gets to be the supernatural figure, the FL gets the short end of the stick in terms of development. The second half of the drama is usually all about how to solve the ML’s issues and make him human.

just from the title “my demon” alone, i got a feeling this is gonna be a male centric drama where the fl is kind of a damsel in distress type. I’m actually fed up with this kind of troupe where fl needs to be saved by ml because i prefer a strong fl who solves her own problem. if anything, I’m more interested with the chaebol character. but i hope that the fl character is more than a chaebol.
I guess I prefered GM in the role of Prince, he was more involved in the paint scenes too.
But yeah, sadly, KYJ was one of the the FLs who was forgotten by the author to let the ML to shine… like Red Sleeve.

Moonlight Drawn by Clouds was her big hit when she was still a teenager. As adult, the first hit would be her first leading movie role 20th Century Girl.
She only have 3 dramas as adult. Clean with Passion for Now, Backstreet Rookie and Red Sky. She’s in her 20th year in the industry but she still have a long way as an adult actress.
Let’s not compare actresses since the industry is already harsh on them okay. Let’s support our own fave positively without downgrading someone.
She has Love Alarm and School 2015. These dramas are way popular than MDBC overseas. So, stop hating.

It’s true that she was casted by these top PDs and writers. However, there is one thing in common. All of these projects flopped – Backstreet Rookie, Clean With Passion and Lovers of the Red Sky.
Further, havin top CFs is not a measure of success. I can name a lot of A-list stars who do not do CFs. Also, if you are an avid visitor here, a K-ent insider said that So Hyun’s talent fee is now higher. And she is not taking CFs because she is focused on establishing an image of an actress rather than a model.
Finally, Sidus highly favored Yoo Jung. The reason why So Hyun switched agencies because they always offer the bigger projects to Yoo Jung.
