Okay, the timing is so awkward and hilarious, that on the same week a few top stars were revealed to be under investigation for tax evasion (or under payment of taxes) is also the same time that another two top stars get a tax commendation. This weekend Kim Soo Hyun and Song Ji Hyo received a Model Taxpayer Award from the Korean government and were also named Tax Ambassadors for the government. Many a stars over the years have been tapped to this gig which is frankly super dorky but also a good gig. It reminds the netizens said star is upstanding with taxes and also some free publicity for the government. I love how Kim Soo Hyun showed up looking the absolute dorkiest he can possibly look, basically Song Sam Dong grown up and getting a tax medal pinned to him lol.
