Wang Yibo’s Chanel Paris Show Visit Gets Attacked by Facetwin Comparison to Liu Yu Ning and Critiques of His Fashion Aura — 15 Comments

  1. They don’t look alike but both look lame and mehhhh! Plenty of Kpop idols have delivered better aura with dyed hairs for at least a decade. Why being copycats?

    • Yeah, I don’t think he looks like the other dude, but neither look great with it, especially compared to KPop idols who look like anime characters with platinum hair (or any other fun hair colors for that matter). These two dudes just don’t have that edgy vibe that’s needed to pull that off.

I know his rabid fangirls will foam at the mouth and attack me but I don’t care: Wang Yibo especially looks meh. Like, we get it, dude, you never smile because you’re ✨brooding and mysterious ✨ 🙄 *eye roll*

      lmao

  2. I have to say Wang Yibo looks good, I have been watching many fashion shows these 2 weeks… And I saw Wang Yibo, he looks very good. He is not a great actor but he definitely dresses very well.

  3. Nah, there’s nothing there, plus they both look meh in that colour/haircut. I think one need to be stronger on the androgynous look to look good in platinum, and these two, well, there’s no androgynous there.

  4. The explanation is easy, unfortunately during PFW some brands showed their sinophobia and gave worse treatment to their ambassadors from China making them wait in lines before coming in etc. Chanel however gave VIP treatment to Wang Yibo and even provided him outfit from 2024 spring/summer pre-collection that is not released yet and Yibo wore it as the first person. Haters got pressed and were foaming at the mouth, even trying to involve others. Accusations of copying are even more stupid because it’s not the first time Yibo dyed his hair either blonde or silver. He’s also picked by the magazines as one of best dressed celebs so haters can keep getting mad.

    • It’s nothing to do with how he’s treated in PFW. Ppl are talking about how he looked and I don’t disagree. I don’t really pay attention to his Paris trip nor do I care how he’s treated in PFW compared to other Chinese celebrities. I didn’t even know that until Koala posted these photos here. So, rather than being paranoid about general criticism about his hairs, stop selling my-idol-is-always-perfect-and-the-best-among-all to everyone. We’re not his fans and don’t even pay any attention to his activities. We just reacted to his looks in the fashion show as we do to other celebrities in any events.

This hair cut with unnatural platinum dye doesn’t work on him. That’s a fact! LOL. He doesn’t have delicate facial features and I personally think hair dyes other than black/brown-ish colors look better on ppl with more delicate features, unless celebrities have particular charm on stage like BTS Jimin.

      • Who’s the “we” you’re referring to, Somebody? Cause sure, the comments here on Koala isn’t concerned with Cent celebs’ treatments in PFW and simply commenting on how Yibo looks with this styling. But I think Mi on is probably commenting on what started this discussion in China and anyone who pays some attention to Cent knows that these kind of anti’s campaign isn’t unusual. Antis will find any and all stupid reason to latch on to generate discussion against their “enemy”.

  5. His hairstyle is fine. He had almost the same colour when he debuted. But due to entire ensemble, he looks washed out of colours, that I couldn’t quite see his features because too fair.

  6. Yibo looked classy, elegant and carried CHANEL.
His aura is perfect! His body proportions are excellent and his bold choice in the hair made him look like a prince extracted from a book!
He was chosen in China, the best dress of all Chinese attendees by profesional beauty vlogers, you can search it up.
