If I were the crew of MBC drama My Dearest I wouldn’t want a wrap party I would want to sleep for 3 days straight and get paid due overtime for the crazy filming conditions. This weekend Saturday night is the airing of the final episode of My Dearest and from the SNS posts of the cast it was filming to the very end on Saturday morning. It’s unfortunate MBC hasn’t learned from previous untenable filming conditions for dramas and this had to happen again to taint the ending of one of the best received serious romance sageuks in recent years. I’m just happy no one got injured during these exhausting shooting days.

The second part was quite disapointing. I didn't care anymore about the romance.
I don't get all the buzz around My Dearest I. Nowadays, I rarely dropped a Kdrama I started to watch per recommendation. But MD I is among very few. The plot is an awkward copy of American classic, Gone with the Wind, the book
of which I read many times in my teens and the American movie is already memorable and imprinted in many fans' hearts. I surely will compare MD I with GwtW and it turned out really awkward to watch a Sageuk lady with American South style in the Civil War era. LOL. The FL was overacting nor she had as stunning beauty as well as charisma as Vivien Leigh. It would always feel like 2nd hand when you just copy the original without much creativity. This BD drama gave me that feeling. Sorry no offense.
MD is the one of the best KD i have ever watched ..The actors gave justice to their roles...There is no dull moments for me even the side stories were all great...I cant get enough of Gil Chae, how strong she was during the war.. their love story is the best... Even the sound tracks made me fall in love even more with "My Dearest"...Kudos to the actors and crews and director ...i will watch it over again ...Thanks for "My Dearest" ...from Manila Philippines here
