Zhao Lu Si Continues Versace Brand Collaboration in Long Pink Column Gown at Spring Event — 24 Comments

  1. She make do what she get, I don’t think a star chooses the brand they want to endorse, it the brand that choose them.
If we r going to use her stature to critise that she does not suit the brand, I don’t see the fairness in this since Donatella has the same stature has her n she wears her own clothes.
Let Donatella figure it out herself if Lusi is the right person to continue endorsing her products or not. I feel some of this criticisms r just nitpicking at this point.

  2. This is a better look than others, but yeah Marni or Miu Miu would definitely be a better fit. The real question is how many events does Versace have?? I feel like she’s been to at least 5 in the past month alone.

    • Versace spring and summer collections just come out so she is required to go to all the promotion events as the face of the brand

  3. Her makeup suits the dress perfectly. The dress also makes her look taller than her small stature. Whoever styled her did a great job.

  4. I like her new look. I think she wants to try something different for 2024. She doesn’t want to go for what you expect her to be—Miu Miu. I appreciate her experimenting with looks, fashion and genres. She gives the impression that one could and should push the envelope, try anything and everything, and not just stick with the same like how you criticized Yang Mi. There’s no pleasing you, it seems 🤣

  5. I think she looks great here. Great make-up, hair, accessories and dress. The dress is very flattering in style and colour and even makes her look taller

  6. I also think she looks really good here. I didn’t like the last outfit with the nude bodice or whatever it was. But this one is pretty!

    • I am thinking with that nude bodice outfit… the Head office saw the look and got so horrified 😱 by China Versace team. They might have put together a better co-ordinated look for her from HQ (Just a little joke to myself, Dont Quote me on it)….This looks good on her, I can see this piece selling well in China.

      • Be careful what you say jokingly. Some die hard fans that don’t have a sense of humor might come for you! Hopefully not though 🙂

  7. I don’t think ZLS is quirky enough for Miu Miu. She’s also not vampy enough for Versace. This look is too old for her. I prefer her in the earlier look for which she got so much flak. At least it was more suitable for her age. I loved the make up and hair. The only problem was she didn’t seem comfortable. She needs to get the pose and attitude right.

    • Yes, totally agree why she is not quite right for Versace.

She has natural and gamine essences that are not honored by these clothes. Rather than quirky or sultry, she needs a playful brand that will allow her to be more Twiggy and less Sophia Loren.

      • Totally this here! She always looks like she’s trying too hard in these clothes. It never looks effortlessly sexy.

  8. I don’t see why column gown only fits sexy-looking women. She looks gorgeous and elegant! She looks good in this light pastel pink.

    • Clothes don’t have an ID but this dress is accommodating for Kibbe curves that aren’t there and looks baggy and fussy on her. She still looks good because she is thin and beautiful but this dress was made for someone like Sofia Vergara or Rachel Weisz.

      • Hmm, interesting! I personally don’t appreciate the physique of Vergara or Weisz regardless of what they wear. LOL. It’s just personal preference. I do think ZLS looks charming here even the brand may be known for sexy appeal.

  9. I think she brings a certain freshness to Versace which I always associate with more mature and overly sexualised in the past. It is now still glam but more polished and occasionally kind of cute which may be more targeted to a younger generation. I would say apart from the Macau event she looks really nice.

  10. If anyone follows Kibbe types – she looks like a soft natural forced to dress like a dramatic. That’s why it looks a little off, IMO. The color, however, is great for her.
