C-ent insiders are saying that Hu Ge and Zhao Li Ying are quietly in discussions to work together. I’m guessing its a movie since neither seem inclined to do more dramas unless it’s a huge budget work like The Legend of Shen Li or an artistic and critically challenging work like Blossoms Shanghai. The discussions remain under wraps from both their teams and could happen if stars align but could also fall apart due to it being hard to come to an agreement between two top stars. Even the rumor that this is happening has investors looking for profitable projects salivating to throw money and bankroll the project.
