C-actress Xiang Han Zhi Coined the CP Assassin After Dating Rumors Arise with Wang Xing Yue During Airing of His Hit Drama The Double
So this was a weird little nothingburger of a rumor last week but definitely still entertaining for nickname bestowed. C-actress Xiang Han Zhi is currently filming the period C-drama Calming Waves with Wang Xing Yue and last week there was a hot rumor that the two were dating. It went to the top of the searches and spread wildly, and Xiang Han Zi was then nicknamed the CP Assassin. The reason being is that there was also a hot rumor that she and Wu Lei were dating that came out during the airing of his period drama Love Like the Galaxy two summers ago. Basically her dating rumors come out with the actor who has a hit drama and fans are exciting to ship said actor with the drama leading lady, i.e. the CP, and here she comes assassinating their dreams lol. She’s also been rumored to have dated her former leading men Wang An Yu and Zhou Yi Ran so either she’s the ideal type for many actors or there is lots of water armies trying to jimmy up rumors with her. Wu Lei never responded to the dating rumors two years ago but Wang Xing Yue’s side has come out and said his dating rumor with Xiang Han Zhi right now is not true and absurd.

Lol did Xiang Hanzhi offend someone in the industry? Otherwise these dating rumours are a tad too frequent if she has never denied any of them.
it’s not that she offended anyone, she gets paired with every actor that becomes hot search so her agency is likely the one spreading these rumors to hype their artist

Everyday cnetz chooses a woman to spread rumors about and then label them some ridiculous misogynistic name. Even if she dated all these actors, what’s the issue? Did she force them to be attracted to her?
Logical viewers will have no problem even if the rumors are true. But raving fans will definitely feel betrayed. Lmao. All there is in the dictionary of this folks is: inventing, insulting, ridiculing.
I don’t think it’s the fans that are spreading these rumors, it reminds me of a lot of publicity tactics, even if she is not well received, her name will be known. But it is true that there are fans who can’t stand their idols having romantic relationships lol.
C-netz in particular already made it commonplace to romantically link her with 80% of her male co-workers. It would be rare if these rumors don’t happen LOL.
I hope they are real C-netz and not an army of water. I honestly think it is a publicity tactic.

In showbiz there’s no such thing as bad publicity. Now I know her name even though I never heard of her before. Even if the rumors are a lie, which I suspect they are…. They are certainly getting her talked about, which is the intent of the rumors….

Some actors are famous for their dramas and some others for their rumors. XHZ unfortunately seems to be the latter. LOL. She as a supporting role in Sunshine by My Side was almost nonexistent in the plot thanks to the unimpressive writing that allocated a lot of boring screen time to three extras, the ice hokey clowns. Sigh! Other than that, I have zero recollection of her dramas. LOL.
Oh I hope this new project of WXY won’t fail him as what happened to many actors managed by Yu Zeng. LOL.
Or maybe he will fail to the project. Who knows? IMO, Chinese actors are inconsistent, good one day, bad another.
@Bulgasal Maybe but the point about Wang Xing Yue is that he already showed to have an edge over his peers in his group age especially. His character in The Double has an generic writing, there are many characters similar to Duke Su in Cdramaland yet Wang Xing Yue was able to conduct himself in a charismatic way.

After reading ‘when the stars tremble’, im getting curious about this CP trending and the dating rumor. Not all the rumors are true but sometimes, from reel to real can be happened.
But 4 actors and one actress… she probably did dating one of those 4 and the rest were just rumor to bring her name trending on weibo. Who knows.
