On the same week a software update caused global travel chaos, this news feels like a blip but for us K-drama watchers it’s rather concerning. Cable network tvN and its streaming arm TVING announced this weekend that it has been hacked, the network name was changed to Ripple and the content is a mess on the platforms. Videos of recent hits Queen of Tears and Lovely Runner has been removed and suspicious content in new videos added. The network asked videos to not visit the sites or click on unknown videos at this time while it works to restore the content.

Cyber warfare… examples of what it is like. I have been badly affected by CrowdStrike software disaster, it does not just affect travelling… So many companies are using their cybersecurity system.
My company was affected too. It’s not that easily resolved as our notebooks all use bit locker. So I was at first not able to work and then each employee who was still locked out had to call the IT helpdesk to get the bit locker key and then do the steps on our own.
I know, right. The world new reports about flights affeected.. but it is more then flights. My doctor’s appointments, work logins, so many business are affect..I am just surprised by how many businesses CrowdStrike service.
@HL
Yes. The monetary damage would be immense. God knows how many computer are affected. I am sure not everyone is can do it themselves. What was another complication is the we use another keyboard then what was need to input the commands. Qwerty/Qwerty.
@Imzadi, Oh…I should check that out. Thanks!!!
Crowdstrike is actually very expensive service not many companies use it so I guess it didnt really affect that many businesses
