  2. Finally, JCW is in a prestige production! It’s been years since he’s been in one, so as Koala said, it’s still a good thing for him to be in this movie, regardless of how it performs at the box office. I loved him so much when he was just a rising young actor, but he kept choosing duds after duds that I lost all desire to follow his career. My last straw was him accepting Backstreet Rookie, a terrible drama that wasted both leads’ talents. Hope his upcoming projects give him a kind of career renaissance lol

  3. Initial review doesn’t look good.the critic’s hate it,apparently it don’t have enough action.let’s hope the tickets sales is good.

    • And Jeon Doyeon’s interviews pertaining to her promo with Yoo Jae Suk shows are not really helping. Her management should learn from this and just have her do magazine or trad media interviews for her promos. Or if they really need to have her on entertainment or talk shows, select those that are more align to her comfort level. She was rude to YJS and even dragging actors with her interview.

      • I think media twisted her words on the initial articles. The reporter’s question itself was about how she felt about appearing on a YouTube entertainment show, and Jeon Do-yeon answered that she felt uncomfortable seeing Yoo Jae-suk trying hard to lead while she was clumsy in her reactions.

As for dragging another actor’s name, she didn’t bring it up. When the story that “Im Ji-yeon said she was uncomfortable too” came up, Jeon Do-yeon said, “I found out when I saw the broadcast. I wondered if Im Ji-yeon was uncomfortable”.

Society is hasty in making judgments…

  4. I’m excited for this movie just for nothing lol..JCW always appears in a flopped project..no wonder he always overshadowed and remained as a B Grade actor..LMH is not making a comeback for a long time but he still make more than JCW is really said something. A grade actor will remain A Grade, B Grade will remain B grade!

  5. Good and bad career choices apart, I kinda like that jcw seems to have fun with acting and the projects he chooses. He has this childlike strong headedness, aloofness or whatever it is that quality about his position as an actor, one can easily tell just from watching him in his theater/ musicals…as passionate as he is about acting, he just doesn’t take himself or any of the labels which come with being an actor (… grade, hit or flop, …lister, etc) all that seriously.

  6. What absolute nonsense about JCW. Both Healer and The K2 are top Korean drama series. His last films Hard Hit and Fabricated City did well in theaters. The thing with him is that he has too much integrity for the business. He chooses parts he likes rather than listening to stupid advisors who “knows” what to do. In the end that will help him becoming the superstar he really is.

  7. JDY really shooting herself on the foot with the controversy surrounding YJS. Firstly, no one’s going to be on your side if you go against YJS. Secondly, did she really have to? Like, it’s not that hard to just be mature about it. Not like she doesn’t know his style for the past 20 years. She is sounding like a petulant child with all the other things she said too.

And the timing… she was getting so much sympathy just last week for what she said on not getting scripts even after winning Cannes. Now instead of goodwill, she just pissed off a lot of people who are probably not gonna bother with this movie. Already it’s getting bad reviews as it is, she just added to the problems.

Yet another dud and no, this is not going to benefit anyone’s career. Most of all not JCW who has yet another likely flop in his long long loooong career of duds. Queen Woo might be good for him but there’s controversy on not just the acting already in the 20sec trailer, but the costumes too. At this point it’s not just his choices to be blamed; he’s plain unlucky too.

    • I didn’t watch JDY’s interview with YJS, but read comments under it, and no one badmouthed or talked negatively about her. Most of people praised YJS as a host, lol, and talked about JDY as not easygoing person or show, but such comment weren’t in a negative way.

      • Errrrrrrrrr, yea, you clearly dont know where to go then, or you read 5-6 comments, called it majority, then dipped. Because there are over 20+ hot posts on this on Insti and TQ with practically hundreds and hundreds of comments. If you think everyone was just praising YJS or saying “ah, JDY is difficult but thats not a negative” then you need to brush up on your hangul or stop going to netizenbuzz or whatever LOL. Because 90% of the comments are not as nice as that. If it was, there wouldnt be such talk generated as to have this be the focus topic for DAYS.

      • Lol, why to answer so aggressively?
I can understand your point even if you would be less sarcastic. I’m not going on netizenbuzz, whatever you meant by that.
I read more than 5-6 comments, and they were with thousands of likes. I don’t have insta, and that about TQ, any controversies would gather many comments there, because this is forum for discussions. If in Korea will be any slight of controversy, it will bring many comments there, but this not saying for majority’s opinion. I’m pretty sure many people who commented there or on insta didn’t even watch her interview, they just commented after reading posts about it. And I trust more to comments on youtube under that video, from people who was bothered or interested enough to watch it.

      • Lol, why are you so sensitive?
You literally admitted you did not watch the interview (and there are multiple in question just FYI), and actually dont even know what happened other than heresay. You go on to say – lol, its mostly just praises for YJS and no one is talking negatively about JDY – when its been days since this has blown up in sk and is not nothingburger you somehow want to make it seem. But you can believe the youtube comments if that makes you feel informed lol.

      • I went and read more than 300 comments under that video, some of them with thousands of likes, didn’t saw any negative comment. None of them even close to how negatively Daisy wrote about JDY.
You can go and read them as well, I’m wondering how many comments you would need to read to find a negative one.
And to these comments from people who watched interview, I trust more, than to some trolls on insta or TQ, who likely didn’t even watch interview, just chased the clout with controversy popular celebrities.

      • @angrybirds
I’m sensitive to aggression out of nowhere.
“You’re literally admitted” – I didn’t hide it from the first place.
You literally just wrote about comments yourself, and yet your comments on TQ and insta are important, but comments under actual video interview aren’t important, lol?
Thanks to you I read a lot of comments under that video now, saw zero negative comment and many of them said that JDY and YJS awkward tiki-taka was funny to watch.
I know how JDY commented that “scandal”. I didn’t said that this “nothingburger”. I’m sure there are a lot of people who badmouthed JDY. And I’m sure most of them didn’t watch that interview. You seems missing my topic. There were a lot of people who badmouthed other celebrities because of some stupid thing as well, and none of them was remembered after week or two. Because it wasn’t a big deal from the beginning.
My point was about opinion of majority who watched whole interview, not about some trolls on TQ or on Insta, who won’t even remember about JDY as soon as next topic with some popular celebrity will come up, and they will get a chance to badmouth someone else.

      • Lol I genuinely did not realize anyone took YT comments seriously, nor that Netizenbuzz was still around hahhahah.

@Olseya1, I was talking only about knetizen reactions as I dont think anyone outside SK knows or cares much about the controversy. And knetz matter a lot in the context of Revolver. Movies can never do well without through word of mouth & rn, word of mouth is that JDY was rude to the national MC… I’m not sure where and how you are getting positive comments, but I agree entirely with Angrybirds as I haven’t seen much +ve anything. Quite literally today there was a reporter trying to defend JDY, and all the comments on Qoo were basically tagging that as paid coverup. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Whether this issue affects the overall interest in her movie, or not is something we need to wait and see tho. By the way, I’ve seen the video – only the one where she explains her side – and she really should have known better than to get into such an avoidable issue tho. There was no reason to just not let it go. She’s been in the industry longer than I’ve been alive so this level of amateur right before a movie release is plain dumb. But I’ll also have to add, idgaf regardless on what happens to this movie as I care nothing for all 3 leads.

      • @Daisy
And why I can’t took YT comments seriously, if you took Qoo comments seriously? I read korean comments, not international comments.
I already answered where and how I get positive comments, you can just go under video with that interview and read them.
I’m sure this issue not affects her movie, the success of the movie depends on it quality. No one of potential viewers cares about such controversies as long as movie is interesting.

  8. The movie’s CGV egg index is only at about 70 which is very low, so there’s no way this will do well at the box office. Well at least the actors will have a chance at nominations during the awards season.

About the JDY and YJS thing, JDY did come across as someone with low EQ/a bit condescending. I’m kinda not surprised that this eventually happened to one of the big Chungmuro actors since so many of them are promoting their projects on Youtube now when they used to never appear on variety shows. Some of them always came off as stuck up and aloof to me, and tbh many actors are just awkward and not much of a good sport on these shows.

  9. And why I can’t took YT comments seriously, if you took Qoo comments seriously? I read korean comments, not international comments.
I already answered where and how I get positive comments, you can just go under video with that interview and read them.
I’m sure this issue not affects her movie, the success of the movie depends on it quality. No one cares about such controversies as long as movie is interesting.

    • Who said you can’t take YT comments seriously? You are free to choose that route lmfao, just like I am free to not to take you seriously. And nauuur, I don’t go around reading YT comments of all things lol. Not my jam, but you do you, stay calm and don’t lose your cool. It’s not that serious lol.

As for you being “sure” this won’t affect the movie, yea im confident you have no crystal ball to say so. Therefore, I’ll wait and see like anyone most would before straight out proclaiming anything. Particularly with the bad start to add to this controversy. It’s rather funny how you think Koreans commenting on Korean community sites aren’t potential viewers for a k movie with a target audience of… Koreans. L O L. Okay, sure Jan. I’ve said my piece and don’t like rehashing myself multiple times. I’m done here. Enjoy 🙃

      • Gosh, I don’t know what with both of you writing mocking and sarcastic comments to me, like we can’t discuss this topic as normal people, without trying to act as a side with opposite opinion is ridiculous.
You’re reading Qoo comments and commented about them, and yet acting like me reading YT comments is “lol”, “lmfao”.
Maybe it’s a protective barrier because you have nothing to answer to that comparison.
Okay. I don’t think I can discuss that with you as well, as you’re trying hard to act like my opinion is ridiculous, and I’m too sensitive to think it’s a normal conversation.

    • I think he’s pretty tired to talk to someone as clueless as you..even im myself having a facepalm.!!! Anyway just be happy with whatever you believe in..

      • Yeah, it was pretty tiresome to wrote all these “lol” and “lmfao” to me.
And what exactly clueless to you? To discuss comments from people who actually watched video and made that opinion just by it? Like their opinion isn’t important, only that comments on Qoo matter. Go under that video and you’ll see, that 2,6k comments who watched interview and commented there wasn’t aggressive towards JDY at all. No one talk about her as dumb, child or something like this. I wonder, why is it like that? Maybe because it wasn’t a big case from the beginning? It easy to put 1 and 1 and to get, that there wasn’t a serious reason to be aggressive towards her, otherwise 2,6k comments there would be negatively as well. As I didn’t see before how knetz on forums like Qoo, Naver etc lit a fire, made big out of small thing.

And it’s better being clueless than aggressive and rude. We didn’t talk before and you have nothing to say to me by topic, but still chose to wrote to me just to say that I’m a problematic one… Says a lot.
