Fox Spirit Matchmaker Second Chapter Love in Pavilion Test Waters in Advertisers with Eye Towards Year End 2024 Release
The good thing about the flop that was Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact with Yang Mi and Gong Jun is that it was quick come and quick go. No one is talking about it anymore which is good for the next two chapters on deck, initially after the first chapter tanked the next one Love in Pavilion with Liu Shi Shi and Zhang Yun Long went on ice in terms of schedule airing. But this month the producer have started to test the waters with advertising reach outs to see if there is the level of interest it needs, if there is the intention is for the drama to air at the end of 2024. All three chapters were pre-produced and a lot of money sunk in so holding it on the shelf is a big cost and if there is advertising sales the production will release it sooner rather than later.

Whatever the level of interest is, it isn't anything much, for this or the third one. The first one really killed the buzz and even if they can lift it somewhat, they are going to have to take a good look at what else is on the air at that time because depending on that they too might get buried.
